“Para Vos” Short Film

Para Vos is a short animated film about two roomates who find their identities in their day to day routine. They learn each others ways of navigating life, and celebrate their differences. The short film is written as a letter, from a very personal point of view, because only someone who notices you everyday is able to figure out the little things in your routine.

Coexitence. Love. Identity.

Making of Para Vos

Writting the Script

I wrote this short film based on my experience with my roomate, and other people I shared a home with, such as my mom, my sister, or my boyfriend. The first part of the script is mostly things that I find myself doing everyday, and the second part is very much of a mixture. Some parts are things I do, most are my roomates, and then some are fun ones that I’ve seen or heard my family does. I find that the overall message I wanted to get across is love towards the people that you live with, feeling seen and respected, in the small world that we have to coexist in.

Behind the Scenes

Special thanks to,

Esteban Pérez, who made this entire project with me. We animated every scene together and dedicated days after days to this film.

Sebastián Segares for producing the music and audio for the video. Also, to Aliza Reitz for helping us with the narration of the script.

And finally, to Julieta, my mom, my sister and everyone who has shared a home and space with me.
